Important Dates

Monday, Oct. 2nd, 2006: Proposals for plays and performance pieces due

Monday, Oct. 9th, 2006: Acceptances announced via email

Wednesday, Oct. 18th and Thursday Oct. 19th, 2006: Auditions, 7 – 10 PM, Rm. 1E1

Monday, Oct. 23rd, 2006: Completed draft of scripts due for approval and editing

NB: We will not be editing for content (we have no intention of censoring anyone), but we may have to edit for length, due to time constraints.

Week of Oct. 24th, 2006: Rehearsals are expected to begin. It is the responsibility of each director to arrange rehearsal times and locations with their casts. You will be asked for a copy of you rehearsal schedule so that we can check on your progress.

Week of Nov. 27th, 2006: Actors must be off script by this point. Expect us to visit your rehearsals during this week.

Monday, Dec. 4th, 2006: Final draft of scripts, complete with tech cues are due. They must be submitted on this date for us to have them approved by the Recital Hall technical staff.

Tuesday, Jan. 9th, 2007: CDs with sound effects are due, as are films. They must be submitted on this date so that we can make sure they work on the Recital Hall’s equipment.

Weeks of Jan. 9th and Jan. 15th, 2007: We will have a booth in the Concourse or Hall of Fame area to sell tickets for the show. All participants are expected to volunteer some time at the booth.

Week of Jan. 15th, 2007: Dress and tech rehearsals will take place in the Recital Hall, times TBA.

Thursday, Jan. 18th; Friday, Jan. 19th and Saturday, Jan. 20th: Shows! There will be one show on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as a Saturday matinee. You must be available for these dates to participate in the festival!

Saturday, Jan. 20th, after the show: Party and awards ceremony! Location TBA

Sometime mid-February: Art exhibit and coffee house, date, time and location TBA. If you’re interested in helping organize this event, let us know!
