Mortimer: A Theatrical Chamber Work

Mortimer is a miniature opera based on the children’s story of the same name by Canadian author Robert Munsch. It is Mortimer’s bed time. He is taken upstairs, tucked into bed and told to “be quiet.” Mortimer refuses this command and breaks into song, making all the noise he can. Everyone tries to silence Mortimer and chaos ensues.
